We all have the price and the world can buy you and me. We are living in the last days, people are ready to do anything for money, even their own life too. The devils are always coming around us and offering different things which our flesh loves the most and ultimately he destroy our relationship with God.
Jesus clearly said that, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…” You know the devils want to steal your relationship with the Father, if he is unable to steal, he will try to kill and if he is unable to kill, he will try to destroy. The most effective weapon he uses is your FLESH. Your flesh is the greatest enemy for you, that’s why Apostle Paul says, “I discipline my body”. Have a discipline in Christ. Discipline in Christ makes who you are in Him. Having discipline in prayer and reading the word of God etc…Without discipline you are like a waves which goes up and down, your life in Christ will never stable until you discipline yourselves. The OT Daniel was simple man and slave but his discipline made him so close to the Lord and even he could interpret the dream. The Discipline life makes you who you are.
Jesus, He was 100% GOD and 100% Man and the devil comes and tempting Him. But Jesus had a close relationship with the Father and talking always with the Father. Jesus had great discipline life with the Father, His life was not going up and down, He knows what He is doing and He knows where He is going, He had such discipline life with the Father and early morning seeking Father and evening and night also spending time with the Father, and rest of the whole day walking with the Father so close. What an amazing life that He lived on this earth, you know what the Bible says, “we ought to follow His footsteps.” Remember this, God will never require if we are unable to do, He says to do, because we are able to do that. You can follow His footsteps.
In temptation, Jesus chose to stand firm, and not to accept the bribe that devil offered. He stood firm, and because He did, we can too! If you know the Father so intimately, you will be knowing automatically the Devil too. Jesus knows the devil and He won.
If Jesus committed Himself to that desire, He would have become like one of us, like a sinner because whatever the world offer is sinful things, I John 2:16,17. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
But Jesus didn’t offer Himself to the world and He abode in the will of GOD…We are called to Abide in Christ…Abide in me, and I in you. John 15.4…The Bible tells us to Abide in Him. Listen, God promise never changes He is with us always even to the end of the age…but Are we abiding in Him? There is a big difference in abiding in Christ and it seems like this word…John 8.29. And He that sent Me is with Me: the Father hath not left Me alone; for I do always those things that please Him. Jesus was fully abiding with the Father, never left from Him and Father has not left from Him.
The world out there make you a good offer to take you away from the Love of God, We love our flesh don’t we? Yeah we love our flesh; that’s our biggest enemy. Our flesh loves appreciation, approval from man, honour, name, reputation and recognition etc…Do you know all these will pass away: but the man or woman who do the will of God abideth forever.
Abide in Him and He in You. Stand firm in the Will of God…The Bible says, For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. I Peter 3:17.
Doing the will of God is more important than anything else in the world, the world may offer all what you want, but you should know the will of God and abide in Him. Always remember all of these worldly things will pass away….I mean all…None going to stand forever, all will be destroyed, only Kingdom of God stands forever.
When you see the worldly things, your flesh love that and wish to have it. Please remember that we are called to follow the Spirit not the flesh. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: Romans 8: 13 (a). The best way to live your life, is stay on the Love of God.
